Picker Packer/Warehouse Operative – Wigan

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Picker Packer/Warehouse Operative – Wigan to join our well-established client based in Wigan.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and the possibility of ongoing work.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker or Packer.

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 15:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Picker Packer/Warehouse Operative are:

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Packing goods ready for dispatch
• Moving stock safely within the warehouse using correct handling techniques
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Carrying out general warehouse tasks as required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Picker Packer/Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Hard-working, reliable, and punctual
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Previous picking and packing experience is essential

Training:

• Full site training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment
