FLT Counterbalance / Reach Truck Operator – Tamworth 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance / Reach Truck Operator to join our well-established client based in Tamworth.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Forklift Operator, Counterbalance Driver, Reach Truck Driver or FLT Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• Days: £14.67 per hour
• Nights: £16.35 per hour

Shift Pattern:

As a FLT Counterbalance Driver / Reach Truck Driver, you will work:

• Day Shift: Friday to Sunday, 06:00 to 18:00
• Night Shift: Saturday to Monday, 18:00 to 06:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a FLT Counterbalance / Reach Truck Operator are:

• Loading and unloading vehicles using a PDA
• Operating Counterbalance and Reach Trucks safely and efficiently
• Labelling and completing promotional builds
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Conducting quality checks to maintain high standards
• Meeting customer order requirements accurately and on time

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a FLT Counterbalance / Reach Truck Operator you will need:

• Basic level of English, both spoken and written
• Good communication skills
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working night shifts
• Ability to load and unload trailers using a pump truck and Counterbalance Truck
• Ability to carry out physically demanding duties throughout the shift
