Warehouse Operative – Widnes

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Widnes.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, paid breaks, ongoing work, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a leading employer.

This role would suit candidates looking for work as a General Operative, Order Picker, or Warehouse Assistant.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.53 – £14.30 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Working any 5 days out of 6
• No Saturday nights
• 21:00 – 06:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will work:

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading vehicles safely and securely
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse, including manual handling and heavy lifting
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures and company standards

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• A hardworking, reliable, and positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A good standard of spoken and written English
• To be comfortable with manual handling, as heavy lifting is required
• Previous warehouse experience

Training:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
