Paint Sprayer – Skelmersdale
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Paint Sprayer based in Skelmersdale.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering £17.67 per hour, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Spray Painter, Industrial Painter, or Powder Coater.
Rates of Pay:
- £17.67 per hour
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 18:00 – 06:00
- Week 2: Monday to Wednesday, 06:00 – 18:00 (Thursday off)
- Week 2: Friday to Sunday, 18:00 – 06:00
- Week 3: Thursday to Sunday, 06:00 – 18:00
- Week 4: Off

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Paint Sprayer, you will work:
- Setting up spray equipment and preparing work areas
- Matching and mixing colours using manufacturers’ technical data
- Applying primer coats, main coats and finishing layers
- Using paint drying methods and carrying out quality checks
- Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and paint booths
- Following all health and safety procedures
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Paint Sprayer, you will need:
- Ability to operate and control spray equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Hands-on practical skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Basic mechanical awareness
Training:
- Industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support throughout your assignment
