Van Driver Brentry

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Brentry, BS10.

Our client provides high-quality mobile units across the UK and is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Van Driver to become the face of their business, ensuring the fleet is safe, spotless, and ready for clients.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, or 3.5 Tonne Driver.

Rates of Pay:

  • £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

As a Van Driver, you will work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Start time: 07:30
  • Enjoy your weekends off

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Van Driver are:

  • Driving company vans safely to and from client premises
  • Preparing, valeting, inspecting, and testing welfare vans
  • Completing daily vehicle safety checks
  • Tracking vehicle service intervals
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards
  • Assisting with tasks requested by management to support branch operations
  • Jet washing and valeting vehicles
  • Completing general housekeeping duties around the depot
  • Ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard for the next hire

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

  • A friendly, polite, and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of two years
  • Previous experience in a similar driving, delivery, or valeting role
  • Strong journey planning skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A willingness to support colleagues and work as part of a team
  • A proactive and positive attitude
