HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Edinburgh

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Edinburgh to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.

This role would be ideal for candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, or Truck Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £17.00 per hour
• Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am to 4:30pm

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver are:

• Safely operate and drive HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Deliver building materials to customers’ homes and commercial premises
• Complete loading and unloading tasks safely and accurately
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Ensure deliveries are completed in a professional and timely manner

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C Licence
• Valid HIAB Grab Ticket
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsements
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
• Reliable, professional, and punctual approach to work

Training:

• Full industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
