Warehouse Goods In / Compliance Operative – Tamworth
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Goods In / Compliance Operative to join our well-established client based in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity offering £14.42 per hour, Monday to Friday working, a temporary to permanent opportunity, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a busy warehouse and logistics operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Goods In Operative, Warehouse Compliance Operative, Warehouse Operative, Goods In Inspector, Stock Controller, Inventory Operative, FLT Driver, Warehouse Administrator, or Logistics Operative.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Warehouse Goods In / Compliance Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Picking large customer orders accurately and within required timescales
• Following detailed customer compliance requirements and ensuring all specifications are met
• Pallet picking, wrapping, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Ensuring all new customer compliance requirements are updated and actioned correctly
• Identifying, resolving, and reporting warehouse issues to the Warehouse Manager
• Carrying out quality and compliance checks on customer orders
• Packing goods accurately and securely for dispatch
• Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies to the relevant department promptly
• Ensuring all Goods In deliveries are processed and cleared on the same day where possible
• Following bespoke quality management system procedures at all times
• Using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software to manage stock movements and transactions
• Replenishing stock within designated warehouse locations
• Moving stock safely from bulk storage locations to picking locations
• Meeting daily productivity and quality KPIs
• Operating Bendi, Reach, and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently (where authorised)
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Warehouse Goods In / Compliance Operative, you will need:
• A valid accredited Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence
• A minimum of five years’ warehouse experience
• Previous experience within a Goods In, Compliance, or Warehouse environment
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience operating Bendi Forklift Trucks
• Experience working within a customer compliance or quality-focused warehouse environment
• Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and continuous improvement processes
Training Provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
